5 9. Whisk Attachment Whisk attachment snaps into the motor body housing. This attachment is great for whipping cream, egg whites and other delectable treats. 10. Chopper/Grinder Attachment Chop, mince and grind with the Cuisinart ® chopper/grinder attachment.
6 2. Attach/detach charger handle to motor body . a. After batteries are fully char ged, remove char ger handle from wall sock- et. Push down on thumb grip and slide the plug to the retracted position inside the housing. b. Press the r elease button. Align two slots on bottom of charger with two tabs on top of motor body .
7 HOLD THE BLADE RING BY THE CENTRAL HUB HOLDING RIBS (grips) (K) ONL Y . DO NOT TOUCH THE RAZOR-SHARP BLADES. Note these important features of the blade ring. The blade ring can be placed over the plastic blade sheath in two differ ent ways: If you hold it as in figure A, you will see the wor d “Sharp” on the blade.
8 OPERA TION TURNING CORDLESS RECHARGEABLE HAND BLENDER ON/OFF Keep hands, hair , clothing and other utensils away fr om blending blade. Press and hold rubberized On/Off button on top of handle to turn motor On. The On/Off button is marked PRESS. The hand blender will continue to run as long as the switch is pressed in.
9 TIPS AND HINTS 1. Liquid should not come closer than 1 inch of wher e the shaft attaches to the motor housing. 2. Some spices may scratch the chopper/grinder attachment. 3. When using with a nonstick cooking surface, be car eful not to scratch the coating with the hand blender .

11 CHARGING PROCEDURES When brand new , the Cuisinart ® Smart Stick PLUS ® Cordless Rechargeable Hand Blender is not fully charged. Plug the char ger handle into the electrical socket and leave it plugged in for 24 hours to ensure maximum operating capability .
12 WALL-MOUNT OPTION Separate the two plastic storage stand pieces. Y ou will need only one for wall mount. (See diagram above) When selecting a mounting location, be sure to leave enough r oom above the storage stand for your hand to remove the Cuisinart ® Smart Stick PLUS ® Cordless Rechar geable Hand Blender .
13 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Always clean the hand blender thoroughly after using. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service repr esentative. HAND BLENDER Detach the charger handle fr om the motor body before cleaning. Remove the shaft with the blade from the motor body .

9 CONSEJOS 1. No sumerja la varilla hasta menos de 1 pulgada (2.5 cm) del bloque-motor. 2. Algunas especias pueden rayar el bol del accesorio picador/moledor. 3. Si usa cacerolas antiadherentes, no permita que la licuadora haga contacto con el revestimiento antiadherente.
8 FUNCIONAMIENTO CÓMO ENCENDER/APAGAR EL APARATO Mantenga los dedos, cabello, ropa, espátulas y otros utensilios lejos de la cuchilla durante el funcionamiento. Mantenga oprimido el botón de encendido ubicado arriba del mango para encender el motor.
7 IMPORTANTE: La cuchilla encaja sobre el poste de dos maneras diferentes. Si la sostiene de esta manera (A), notará la palabra “SHARP” escrita sobre la cuchilla. 6 2. Instalación/Remoción del mango cargador. a. Después de cargar las baterías, desconecte el mango cargador de la toma de corriente. Presione el apoyapulgar y deslice la clavija adentro del mango. b. Presione el botón de liberación. Alinee las dos muescas en la parte inferior del mango cargador con los dos resaltos sobre el bloque-motor.
5 9. Accesorio batidor Fácil de instalar sobre el bloque-motor. Este accesorio es ideal para montar claras y preparar crema batida y otras delicias. 10. Accesorio picador/moledor Permite picar y moler fácilmente. El accesorio picador/moledor se conecta al bloque-motor de la misma manera que el accesorio batidor o el accesorio licuador.
