DTC-950 Programmable Stainless Thermal Carafe Coffeemaker INSTRUCTION AND RECIPE BOOKLET For your safety and continued enjoyment of this product, always read the instruction book carefully before using.
1 IMPOR T ANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fir e, electric shock and/or injury to persons, including the following: 1. Read all instructions before operating or using the appliance.
2 IMPOR T ANT UNP ACKING INSTRUCTIONS Place the box on a large, sturdy , flat sur face. Lay the box on its side. Slide the packaged unit out of the box. Remove the foam insert and the cardboar d insert. Now remove the carafe from the cof feemaker . Remove the carafe from its car dboard packaging.
T o Program the Brew Time T o program the brew time, pr ess and hold the program button for two seconds. The “prog” symbol starts flashing in the lower right corner of the LCD screen. Press the hour button to advance the clock to the desir ed time.
4 IMPORT ANT : Carafe must be r eturned to its position within 30 seconds to prevent filter basket fr om overflowing. NOTE: Strength of cof fee poured mid-cycle may vary in strength fr om finished brew . CAUTION: During brew cycle, basket must be closed secur ely since basket in improper position may cause hot water or cof fee to overflow .
