8 BEFORE BREWING YOUR FIRST POT OF COFFEE During the manufacturing process, dust can get trapped in your coffeemaker . W e recommend flushing out the system before br ewing your first pot of coffee. Simply follow “Making Coffee with Pr e- Ground Beans,” page 9.

10 Brew Pause ™ Featur e Our Brew Pause ™ featur e interrupts the flow of coffee fr om the basket to let you pour that first cup mid-brew . Be aware that using this feature will weaken the flavor strength of the finished pot, because the flavor profile of cof fee brewed at the beginning of the cycle differs fr om coffee made at the end.
