5 SECTION 2: ASSEMBLING YOUR SNOW THROWER Unpacking Fr om Carton • Cut along c orners of t he carton and lay it down flat. See Figu re 1. Remove packing ma terial. • Remove an y loos e parts inclu ded with unit ( i.e., operator’s manual, etc. ).
6 • Lift the con trol handl e up, and ho ok the “Z” end of the c ontrol cable i nto the b ottom hole in the control handle, fro m the outside to the inside . If neces sary, pull up on th e end of the cable with a pair of pli ers to obta in slack in or der to hoo k it into th e control handle.

11 Lubrication • Lubric ate pivot points on the control handle a nd the extension s pring at the en d of the clutch cable with a light oil on ce eve ry seas on and before storage of the snow thr ower at the end of the sea son.
