7 SECTION 3: ASSEMBLY & OPERATION NOTE: References to left, right , front and rear of the tractor ar e from the operat or’s position, unless otherwise st ated. • Before assembly, place the tractor on a fi rm, level surface, dise ngage the PTO, stop the tractor engine and set t he parking brake.
8 • Remove the cutting de ck from beneath the tractor (refer to in structions fo r Deck Removal in your tracto r’s operator’s manual) , then gently flip the deck over t o expose its underside. • Place a block of woo d between the cente r deck housing baffle and the cutting bla de to act as a stabilizer.
