4 T O REMO vE UNiT FROM CAR T ON • Cut from top to bottom all f our cor ners of the car ton and la y panels at. (See Fig. 1) • Remov e the lag screw that holds the oating hitch to the packing skid. • Disassemble and discard carton's wood top and side suppor ts.

8 OPERA TION TRANSPOR TING Y OUR TILLER AROUND THE Y ARD • Pull f orward on lift handle until it locks in the up , transpor t position. AROUND TO WN • Disconnect spark plug wire. • Drain fuel tank. • T ranspor t in upright position to prev ent oil leakage.

10 CUST OMER RESPONSIBILITIES W ARNING: Alw ays stop engine and disconnect spark plug wire before cleaning, lubricating or before perf orming any repairs or maintenance. ENGINE MAINTENANCE • Check oil le vel before each use and e v er y 8 hours. • Maintain engine oil as instructed in the separate engine manual.

Replace V -belt if it has been damaged considerab ly from slipping under heavy loads or if it sho w cracks or fr ay ed edges.
12 SER VICE AND ADJUSTMENTS TINE CARE • F or best results — Tine Blades should be kept reasonably sharp. The Tine Blade can be sharpened on a grinding wheel.
