10 Back View 1. Multi-select button — This button comprises four buttons, Up , Down , Left and Right. In Camera and Video modes, use the Up or Down buttons to adjust the exposure level. Use the Left button to set the self-timer . In Camera mode, press the Right button to set the flash mode.

12 3. Getting Started Preparing Your Camera 1. Insert four AAA batteries into the battery compartment . 2. Insert the SD memory card according to the icon shown on the camera when the card slot cover is open. T o take out the memory card, pu sh the card to pop it out.

17 Recording video Y our camera can record video in MPEG4 format. In Video mode, press the menu button. The Video Menu appears. To select video size 1. Scroll-select Size . 2. Scroll-select the default resolution for video capture: 640X480 or 320X240 .
18 To start recording 1. Press the Shutter/Record butto n to start recording video. While recordi ng, move the scrol ler up or down to zoom in or out. You can also use the Multi-select button to adjust the exposure level. 2. To pause recording, press the Right button.
19 Special effects In Video mode, press the scroller to see the special effects menu. Scroll-select an effect that you want to use. Playing back videos 1. In Video mode, press the Playback button. 2. Scroll-select a video. Video playback starts. T o adjust the volume, press the Up or Down buttons.

24 Special effects In Camera mode, press the scroller to s ee the special effects menu. Scroll-select an effect that you want: Normal, Sepia, B&W, Negative, Red, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green or Yellow. Taking close-up pictures 1. Move the Macro switch upwards to select Macro mode.
25 Trimming a photo 1. In Camera mode, press the Playback button. 2. Use the scroller to go to th e previous or next photo. 3. Move the scroller up to zoom into th e photo. Use the Up, Down, Left or Right buttons to frame your new photo . 4. Press the shutter button.

29 Printing photos directly to a PictBridge compatible printer 1. In camera playback mode, press the Menu button. 2. Scroll-select Print . You are prompted to connect your photo printer. 3.
