5 OPERATION AND USE BEFORE EACH USE CHECK HUMIDIFI ER PLACEMENT Place the Humidi fier on an el evated, non- metall ic, lint- free, waterpro of, level su rface at least 2 feet a bove th e floor. • DO NOT pl ace the h umidi fier on carpet o r a tow el.
6 4. Plug the power cord into a wal l socket an d turn on the uni t by usi ng the Cont rol Knob. 5. The Pow er Indi cator Light will illumi nate in b lue indi cating that there is enoug h water in the Humi di fier Base. Mi st will begin emi tting through the Mi st Lid .
7 3. Fill the water tank wi th abou t a quart of warm water. Add 2 Tabl espoons of whit e vinega r. Shake vig orousl y and l et sit for 20-30 minut es. Shake vi gorousl y again and empty t he wate r. Ri nse water ta nk. 4. Make si milar whi te vinega r/water sol ution.
