• Use only recommended CraftsmanCR_ parts and accessories. • Be sure chain stops moving when engine idles (see CARBURETOR AD- JUSTMENT section ofpowerhead manual). • Keep others away when making car- buretor adjustments. • Never start the unit with the clutch housing removed.
• Never let the moving chain contact any object at the tip of the guide bar. • Keep the working area free from ob- structions such as other trees, branches, rocks, stumps, etc. Elimi- nate or avoid any obstruction that your chain could hit while you are cutting.

SHOULDER STRAP ASSEMBLY WARNING: Proper shoulder strap and handle adjustments are re- quired before use. The shoulder strap clamp must be installed as shown above the assist handle on the upper shaft (powerhead end of unit). NOTE: The lower shoulder strap clamp has two spacer tabs attached.
