18 NON-CO NTACT TE MPERATUR E MEA SURE MENTS 1. Set the funct ion switch to the N on-Cont act (IR) ºF or ºC p osition. 2. Point the meter at th e surface to be measured. 3. If needed, press th e red IR Laser Pointer button to locate the exact sp ot being measured.

22 DATA HOLD The hold f unction fr eezes the r eading in the display. Press t he HOLD key moment arily to act ivate or to exit the hold funct ion.
