SANDING DISC SELECTION Selecting the correct size grit and type sanding disc is an extremely important step in achieving a high quality sanded finish. Aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and other synthetic abrasives are best for power sanding. Natural abrasives, such as flint and garnet are too soft for economical use in power sanding.
PREPARING FOR OPERATION For ease of operation, this tool has a front aL_iliary handle and mar handle. See Ffgure 1. This provides for two-hand operation, which is necessary in order to maintain proper control and keep both hands clear of the sanding disc and sanding area, When operating your sander/polisher, always use both hands.
