2 Precautions Installati on • Do not cover or block the ventilation ports on the rear of the monitor. • Do no t instal l the mo nitor cl ose to hea t sources such a s radia tor s or air ducts, or in a location exposed to direct sunlight, excessiv e dust, mechanical vibratio n, or shock.
3 • Do not insert objects or spill liquids in to the ven tilation ports on the monit or’s rear, as fire, electric shock, and/or unit failure may result. Transporting the monitor When transport ing the monitor for repair or shipment, use the original carto n and packing materials.
4 Installing an d Removin g th e Base To attach the base to the monit or, do the following : When you open the packing carton, remove the LCD m onitor base, and place it on a desk or table. Then attach the LCD m onitor to the bas e. Note: Mak e sure tha t the moni tor’s base pegs and the b ase stand are fir mly lock ed togeth er.

8 Customizing your Monitor The On Screen Display (OSD) system prov ides a full range of custom izable tools to o ptimize your display. 11 Troubleshooting This LCD Monitor has pre-adjusted using fa ctory standa rd VGA timings. Due to the out put timing differences among various VGA cards in the market, users may initially expe rience an unstable or unclear display whenever a new display mod e or new VGA card is selected.
