OPERA TION Listening for a Response Release the T ALK button to receive incoming transmissions. Y our microTALK ® is always in LISTENING MODE except when the T ALK, CALL or MODE b uttons are pressed. MODE FUNCTIONS DCS Privacy Codes DCS (Digital Coded Squelch) is an advanced digital coding system allowing you to select one of 83 privacy codes to reduce incoming transmissions from other users on the channel.
