While re viewing the call list history , missed calls that ha ve not been r eview ed. The ringer is switched off. New v oicemail receiv ed from the telephone service pro vider (network subscription is r equired).

18 19 Audio T one Settings Use this featur e to change the quality of the audio of the handset to best suit your hearing. While you ar e on a call, press T ONE r epeatedly to select an equalizer setting: Bass, Natur al, Tr e ble 1 or T reble 2 , (the default setting is Natural ).
20 21 Mak e a Call 1. Pre-dialing Enter the phone number rst, then press <T ALK ON/FLASH> or <SPEAKER> to dial out the number . Pr ess <T ALK OFF/CLEAR> or <MUTE/X> to clear the entr y . 2. Direct Dialing Press <T ALK ON/FLASH> or <SPEAKER> to access dial tone, then enter the phone number .
22 23 Chain dialing This featur e allows you to initiate a dialing sequence fr om numbers stored in the directory , call log or r edial list while you are on a call. Chain dialing can be useful if you wish to access n umbers other than phone numbers (such as bank account information or access codes) fr om the directory , call log or r edial list.
24 25 Find the Handset Y ou can use the handset locator feature to nd misplaced handsets. T o start the paging tone: Press <FIND> on the telephone base. All the register ed handsets will ring, and the ** P a ging** is ashing on handset screen.
26 27 Y our phone can store up to 100 dir ector y entries with names and numbers. Each directory entr y can hav e a maximum of 30 digits for the phone n umber and 15 characters for the name. Add a New Dir ectory Entry 1. In idle mode, press <MENU/SELECT>, then <UP/DOWN> to select Dir ectory .

Press <MENU/SELECT>, then <UP/DO WN> to select the desired ringer tone (a total of 10 melodies for y our selection) for setting ringer tone for external calls.
38 39 Y our telephone can support up to ve cordless handsets. The additional handset(s) needs to register with the telephone base bef ore use. Y ou must register each ad ditional handset separately . The handsets pro vided within your pr oduct box are alr eady register ed as HANDSET 1 and so forth.
