C onnec tions Alwa ys hold the connector when pulling out a cable. Install the interface cable so that it will not be caught on your shoes etc.

29 3 . Place the roll paper and pull the end of the r oll paper dir ectly to w ards y ou as sho wn in the figur e. Hold the cent er of the r oll paper t o pull it a s str aight a s possible so tha t one of the side s of the paper does not slacken. 4 .

31 4 . After remo ving the re winder shaft, install the cop y r oll paper and pull the end of the roll paper str aight t owar ds you for about 3 0cm as shown in the figure. Hold the center of the roll paper t o pull it as str aight as possible so that one of the sides of the paper doe s not slack en.

T urn the flange on the r e winder shaft in the dir ection shown by the arro w and mak e sur e tha t the cop y roll paper ro ta tes with the r ewinder shaft.
33 Preparing the Print er Oper ation when the fr ont cov er is opened and closed Opening: During printing, the printing st ops and if it is in r ed printing st a tus, the ribbon is switched to the black ribbon sta tus, move s to the centering location, and becomes the condition you can replace the ribbon casset te.

35 Soft SW Set ting Mode Set ting the mode 1 . If the FEED switch is pressed once in maint enance mode (POWER LED is flashing), the PO WER LED and P APER OUT LED start flashing.
