8 9 Connecting to a TV Connect your TV to the set-top. (See connection diagram.) 1 Plug the set-top and the TV into a power source that is not controlled by a wall switch.

14 15 Recording Menu The Recording Menu provides a menu of recording options for using and con fi guring DVR features. T o access the Recording Menu press the HOME button on your remote control and navigate to the Recording Menu. Scheduled List — Displays a list of programs scheduled to record.
16 17 Record From the Program Guide 1. Press the GUIDE button. 2. Press the arrow buttons to select a program, and then press the RECORD button. 3. Choose your recording options and then press OK . 4. Review the recording you just set in the Scheduled List, press the HOME key to go to the Recording Menu, and then navigate to the Scheduled List.
18 19 Mosaic Mosaic displays a group of video images that you can navigate and display a full screen image. From the Main Menu, select Mosaic and select the Mosaic Channel to watch. Press the up, down, left, and right arrows on the remote to make your selection from the mosaic and press the OK button on your remote to tune to the service.
20 21 Pay-Per-V iew Events T o purchase a pay-per-view (PPV) event, press the color-coded key on the remote control. In the PPV Event window , scroll to the event (program) you want to purchase. Read and follow the instructions for ordering the event.
