The cam s rotate with the swing arm shaft, so small adjustment s are magnif ied by the length of the gate . • Use manual controls t o move the gate during limit cam adj ustment.

Rev M F Doc 01- 20099 13 of 42 J. GATE SEN SITI VI TY ADJUSTM ENTS The gat e operator monit ors both average and peak motor curr ent. W hen t he gate encounters an obstruct ion, the gate oper ator senses the change in m otor current and reverses the g ate.
14 of 42 Doc 01-20099 Rev F Left Gat e Motion A djustment (R160) 1. Open the g ate fully, t hen initiate closing t he gate. 2. W ait 4 t o 5 seconds, then light ly "bump" the leading edg e of the g ate to simulat e an obstacle. 3. If the gate does not stop or back up, r eopen the gate and adj ust the pot slig htly counterclock w ise.

Rev M F Doc 01-20099 19 of 42 6. A lternate Action If Alternate Action has been selected so that CYCLE or RADIO commands both open and close the gat e: Activate the CYCLE command, wait until the gate is fully open, then activate the CYCLE command again.
