2 Using your Extr actor For best perf ormance, you should switc h on the extractor 1 5 minutes befor e starting to cook and lea ve it to run for appro ximately 1 5 minutes after the end of cooking.

Cleaning Y ou should use a nonabrasive cleaner . Any abrasive cleaner (including Cif) will scratc h the surface and could er ase the control panel markings.
4 Changing the Light DO NO T CHANGE THE LIGHT BULB IMMEDIA TEL Y AFTER USE AS THE BULB WILL BE HO T . ALL O W IT T O COOL BEFORE REM OVING IT . Using a flat blade screwdriv er , carefully prise off the lamp cover as shown in figur e 5. Remove the bulb and r eplace with a 1 2V 20W halogen light bulb.

7 Mounting your Extr act or IMPOR T ANT : The extr actor is intended t o be mounted dir ectly to the ceiling using fixings appr opriate for the c eiling. Ensure that ther e is adequate c eiling strength and supports at the fixing points; if in doubt, consult a joiner or electrician.
8 Installation Y our extractor can be used t o filter and recy cle the air within your kitc hen (A), or to extract the air outside (B). When extracting air to the outside, the unit can be v ented as shown in the diagram below . T o mount your extr actor t o the ceiling 1 .
9 Installation 4. Insert 3 screws into the main fixings, lea ving appro ximately 3mm protruding, as shown in Fig 7 5. Fit the upper support section (B) into position on the 3 screw s and rotat e it into position, as shown in Fig 7 .
10 Installation 9. Assemble the ventilation duct(H), as shown in the diagrams below dependant on whether you ar e extracting air to the outside (Fig 1 0) or re-cir culating (Fig 1 1), in which case you will need to use the supplied T -piece (M).
11 Installation 1 1 . Mount the upper c himney section onto the frame section and secure in position using the 2 scr ews (A) as in Fig 1 3. 1 2. Carefully slide the low er section over the upper section and tape it in position (L) near the shortest position.
