2 Using your Extractor For best performance, y ou should switch on the extractor 15 minutes before starting to cook and leave it to run f or approximately 15 minut es after the end of cooking.

Any abrasive cleaner (including Cif ) will scratch the surface and could erase the control panel markings.

6 Installation Y our ex tractor can be used to lter and recycle the air within your kitchen, or to extract the air outside. W hen extracting air to the outside, the unit can be vent ed as shown in the diagram below . Note that we rec ommend the use of ducting with a diameter of 150mm.
7 F itting your extractor to the wall Next, remove the top co ver by loosening the screws (b), closing the front panel and then lifting the cover o . The extractor is mounted using four screws . Ensure that the wall xings and screws are suitable f or the wall material.
8 F itting your extractor to the wall Insert the 4 wall plugs in to the holes and x 2 screws in the top holes so that they are protruding fr om the wall by approx 5mm (g 12).
9 Using the extractor as an extraction device Work out the r equired height of the optional chimney for your ceiling and mount the chimney xing bracket as shown in the (g 16), then secure the chimney as shown in (g 17a). Finally , locate the chimney to the body of the e xtractor as shown in (g 18).
