5 Dail y Oper ation • Do not operate any electrical appliances in the refriger ator/fr eezer (e.g. electric ice cr eam maker s, mixers etc.). • Befor e cleaning the appliance, always switch off the appliance and disconnect fr om the electricity supply .
6 Remove T r ansport Packaging The appliance and the interior fittings are pr otected for transport. • Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces fr om the interior of the appliance. Di sposal of Old Appliances For environmental reasons, refriger ation appliances must be disposed of pr operly .

The yellow pilot light (B) comes on when the fast fr eezing button (C) has been oper ated.
8 Interior Accessories Stor age Shelves The glass shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartment should always r emain in position, to ensure fruit and vegetables stay fr esh longer . The r emaining stor age shelves can be adjusted to various heights: Pull the stor age shelf forward until it can be tipped up or down and r emo- ved.
9 T h e b ox can be inserted under any door shelf compartment. 1. T o change the position of the stor a- ge box; lift the shelf compartment with the box upwar ds and out of the holder s in the door and remove the r etaining br acket out of the guide under the shelf compartment.
10 Fr esh Food Refriger ation T o obtain the best performance: • do not stor e warm food or evaporating liquid in the refrigeator • do cover or wr ap the food, particularly if it has a str ong flavour . • position food so that air can circuiate freely r ound it.
