Use the auto setup function when: • Y ou turned th e power on and t he countdown sequence was completed. • Y ou changed the position or angle of the projector during the projection process.
51 Setting Up the Screen A utomatically Projecting an Image ■ P erforming the Auto Setup Press the A UTO SET button to perfor m the auto setup. • After the auto setup is complete, the following windo w appears.
52 Selecting an Input Signal (INPUT) Select an appropriate input signal in the [INPUT] menu if you want to project a digital PC or A V equipment signal or you connect mult iple computers or A V equipment to r eceive their input signals. Skip this step if you have not changed the input signal sinc e the last projection.
53 Selecting an Input Signal (INPUT ) Projecting an Image ■ Selecting an Input Signal 1 Press the INPUT button to pop up a windo w shown at the lower right. The currently active input signal is marked with a circle and highlighted in orange. An input signal that is ready for projection is displayed in white.
54 Adjusting Image Setting the Displa y Reso lution of the Computer Set the display resolution of the computer to "1400 x 1050 pixels" or a resolution closest to the output signal resolution of the compute r based on the per for mance of the projector (resolution: 1400 x 1050 pixels).
55 Adjusting Image Projecting an Image AU TO P C When you press the AUTO P C button if there is a shift in image display or flickering of screen with the [ANALOG PC-1] or [ANALOG PC-2 ] selected, the project or is adjusted to an optimum condition. The result of adjustment is r ecorded for each input signal ([ANALOG PC-1] or [ANALOG PC-2]).
Adjusting Image 56 Adjusting the Image Size Use the ZOOM button to adjust the size of the projecting image. Change the projector installation positi on if y our desired image is too large or too small to adjust it with the zoom function. ( P33 ) 1 Press the ZOOM button to pop up a window sho wn at the lower right.
57 Adjusting Image Projecting an Image Adjusting the Focus Y ou can adjust the focus wi th the FOCUS button. The projection image may be out of focus if the projection distance is beyond the r ange of 1.2 m (3.9') to 9.1 m (29.6'). Move the pro jector instal lation posit ion if such is the case .

60 Selecting Screen Aspect and Aspect Select an optimum aspect ratio of the projecting image (scr e en aspect) or an optimum screen mode (aspect) according to the aspect ratio of the screen, type of input image signal and so on for the projection making best use of the screen size.

65 Projecting an Image Selecting an Image Mode Y ou can select an image mode depending on the projecting image. In each image mode, yo u can furt her adjust the brightness, contra st, sharpness, gamma, color adjustment, advanced ad justment, and lamp mode.
66 T urning Off the Projector 1 Press the POWER b utton to pop up a window shown at the lo wer right. Press the PO WER button again while the confir mation message is displayed. The lamp goes off, the [POWER] indicator starts flashing in red and the cooling fan starts.
