Softwar e Installa tion To use the m achine by connecting it to a computer, software includin g the drivers needs to be copied (installed) to the computer's hard disk. (The installation time varies depending o n the computer environment or the number of application software to be installed.
Inst alling the PIXMA MG4220 to add itional Mac computer s on y our Wir eles s Network If your MG4220 has already been set up for on your wireless n etwork , it is only necessary to install the software on the additional computer(s). The printer does not have to be reset or connected via USB cable to the ad ditional computer(s).
7 << Pr evious Ne xt >> 1. Insert the CD-ROM into th e c omp uter . IMPORT ANT If the USB cable is already connected, unplug it. If a message app ear s on the c omputer , click Cancel. 2. Double -click the Se tup icon in the CD-ROM f old er , then click Download in the subsequent window .
