5 Install T oner Car tridg e 1 Remov e the toner cartr idge from the bag. K eep the bag f or future use . 2 Gently roc k the toner car tridge fiv e or six times to distribute toner inside.
7 Set Up the P aper Cassette and Load P aper 1 Insert the output tr ay into th e front slot on the machine. 2 Pull out the paper cassett e completely . CA UTION Pull the paper cassette straight/forw ard. Pulling it at an angle may damage the paper sensing lev er insid e the machine.
9 7 Pinch and slide the loc k release le ver so th at the side paper guides match the side of paper . NO TE Make sure the paper stac k does not e xceed the load limit mark (A) and it is loaded unde r the hooks (B) on the side paper guides. 8 Gently inser t the paper cassette as far as it will go .
11 Connect T elephone Cables Connect the supplied t elephone cab le to the line jac k (A) and the wall jac k. Connect y our e xter nal telephone to the e xter nal de vice jack (B) if required.

NO TE Before sending a f ax, you MUST register your f ax number , user name, and the current date and time in the machine.
