Quick Start Function 43 Quick Start Func tion When you clo se the LCD pan el with the ca mcor der on, the camcor der enters the stan d by mode. In stand by mode the camcor der consumes only about 1/3 th e power used w hen r ecordi ng, sa ving energy wh en you are using a batte ry pack.

Zooming 51 Zooming There are t hree ways you can zoom in and out: using t he zoom lever on the camcor der , usi ng the zoom buttons on the wirel ess contr oller or using the zoom contr ols on th e touch scr e en. In addition t o the 10x optical zoom, in mode, you can turn on the digital zoom* (40x or 200x) with the 7 [Dig ital Zoom] setting.
