1 Before you be gin the i nstallation: a checklist To ensure a sm ooth and successful i nstallation, take som e time before y ou begin to plan a nd prepare for the installation process. Connect the pr inter to the para llel port on your computer .
2 Installing the Software To inst all the so ftwar e: 1. Insert the insta llation disk into y our disk drive. 2. If AutoRun is en abled, the installa tion star ts autom atically . Click Next t o proceed. If instal latio n does no t start au tomatic ally : • On the Wind ows taskbar, click Sta rt, and then c lick Run.

During insta llation, fol low these g uidelines: • Click Next to mov e from one dia log box to the next. • Make sure y ou click Next or OK on the cu rrent dia log box, • Be sure to wa it for W indows to complete each se tup step.
