3 How to Select a DVD Disc There are many types of DVD discs but this camcorder uses only the following thr ee types of 8 cm mini DVD discs: DVD-R, DVD-R DL and DVD-RW . Read the differences between them and select the di sc that best fits your needs.
4 Adv a ntages of Using DVDs No need to worry about r ecording ove r a tape. When you use a DVD, the camcor der will automatically r ecord on the empty space of the disc. So you don't hav e to worry about mis takenly rec o rdi ng over a precious memory .
5 Available features depend on the DVD disc used 1 Only scen es in the playlist can be divided. 2 Disc finaliz ation is the processing of the free spac e (the unrecorded area) on the disc in order to mak e it playable on external DVD devices ( 45 ). 36 • Video Flexible Recording: Changing the Shutter Speed Use the automatic exposur e (AE) program to us e functions like the white balance or image ef fects, or give priori ty to the shutter speed. Use faster shutter speeds to record subjects mo ving quickly .
