3 1 . I n t r o d u c t i o n Gigabit PCI Adapter Installation CD is an All-In-One inst allation utility for Gigabit PCI Adapter. It automatica lly detects and installs recently ins talled Gigabit PCI Adapter hardware under Windows 98SE, ME, 2 000, and XP.
4 2. Hardware Installation Instructio n s 1) Turn off compu ter and remove its c over. 2) Insert the contact edge of t he adapte r card into the conne ctor of any available PCI Bus master expans ion slot. Press th e card firmly in to the c onnector to PCI s lot.
5 3. Software Driver Instal lation 3.1 Gigabit PCI Adapter Software Driver Installation Pr ocedures Insert Gigabit PCI Ada pter Installa tion CD into CD-ROM drive th en window belo w will appear. Inst all Dri ver: Click Install Dri ver to star t Gigabit PC I Adapter in stallat ion process.
6 3.1.1 For Windows ME, 2000 and XP 1) Once click Install Driver to start the Gigab it PCI Ada pter inst allation, window below w ill appear 2) After Gi gabit PCI Adap ter Installat ion Utilit y finishes installing c orresponding Gigabit PCI Adapter device driver, win dow below will appear.
7 3) Click Exit to close Gigabit PCI Ad apter Installation Utility. 4) To check if Gigab it PCI Adapter is properly installe d: For Windows XP (a) Right-click “ My Compute r ” on the Deskt op (b) .
