ENG-6 4. Infinity Compensation Mark Infinity compensation mark Distance index To compensate for shifting of the infinity f ocus point that results from changes in temperature. The infinity position at normal temperature is the point at which the vertical line of the L mar k is aligned with the distance indicator on the distance scale.
ENG-7 During autofocus operation, y ou can press the AF stop button to temporarily pause autof ocus. If the shutter button is still pressed halfw ay when the AF stop button is released, autof ocusing will continue as bef ore.

ENG-11 Tips on Using the Image Stabilizer • The Image Stabilizer cannot compensate f or a b lurred shot caused b y a subject that moved. • Set the ST ABILIZER switch to when you are taking pictures using the Bulb setting (long e xposures). If the ST ABILIZER switch is set to , the image stabilizer function ma y introduce errors.
