When closing the feeder , be careful not to get your ngers caught, as this may result in personal injury. Do not press down the feeder f orcefully , as this may damage the platen glass and cause personal injury.

Do not add or remove originals while they are being scanned. When scanning is complete, remo ve the originals from the originals delivery tray to avoid paper jams.
