3 How to use the Swivel Pedest al Cannon’s swivel bas e downrigger pedestals allow you to rotate the mounting plate for opt imal positioning. To rotate the mounting plate, disenga ge the lock pin by pu lling the lock pin han dle down. Turn the plate to the de- sired angle and release the s pring loaded lock pin making sure that it reengages.
