10 Connecting to a wireless network IMPORT ANT: Do not plug/unplug the Wi-Fi aerial dongle when the unit is on. Place the Minx Xi in range of your wireless netw ork (usually 1 0-30m of a suitable wireless transmitter , although this is affected by w alls and the construction of your building) and turn it on, via the front panel switch.
11 ENGLISH There are two types of digital audio connections can be made t o the Minx Xi: D1 (T oslink) D2 (S/P DIF) Both connections can be used at the same time as they are selectable as separate sources. For S/PDIF connection, alwa ys use a 75ohm RCA/Phono to RCA/Phono lead designed specically for digital audio.

14 Repeat Accessed via the remot e only . Press the button to t oggle Repeat On or Off. If the currently selected media it em is a track the Minx Xi will repeat that track, if it is an album or artist etc. The Minx Xi will repeat all tracks in that item.

16 Select your local netw ork using the Navigation/Select dial and press it in f or enter . The Minx Xi will then connect to the netw ork using a sav ed ke y (if you hav e previously se t one) or present you with an alphanumeric entry menu. Here you can enter the netw ork ke y you set up when setting up y our wireless network.
17 ENGLISH Y ou will now be able to enter the xed IP address you wish to give your Minx Xi by using the rotary dial to select the desired numbers f ollowed b y pressing Navigation/ Select dial to end inputting the address. The Minx Xi will now prom pt you to ent er the required netw ork mask for the netw ork.
18 Auto Power-down The Minx Xi will switch itself off af ter 15 minut es if it is not playing an ything and there has been no user interaction with it during this time. As a def ault this is set to 15 minut es, but you can increase or decrease this time, or turn this feature off altogether if desired.
