4 Incognito table-top k eypad Thank you for purchasing this Cambridge Audio Incognito product. Incognito is a cost-effective, modular based multi-room system using standard Cat-5/5e or Cat-6 cable to distribute hi-fi quality sound and video around a home.
BK10 T able-top k e ypad Incognito table-top k eypad 5 The BK10 can be used in tw o types of configurations: 1. As an A-BUS Ready / Incognito R eady keypad attached directly t o the back of an amplifier / receiver . 2. In a full A-BUS or Incognito Multi-Room system attached t o a hub.
In this configuration the keypad is connect ed directly to the amplifier/receiver . A power supply unit (Incognit o PS5) is also required to pow er the one or two ke ypads.
BK10 T able-top k e ypad Incognito table-top k eypad 7 The BK10 comes with 1 0 metres of Cat5 connection cable, but an Incognito CP20 cable pack (with 20 metres of cable, 2 x 3.5-3.5 connection cables and a punch-down/wire stripper tool) can be pur chased separately .
Speaker cable Speaker cable PS10 AH10 Cat-5/5e cable BK10 KP10 EU The BK10 k eypad can also be used as part of a full Incognito system, where it is plugged into an Incognito hub (AH1 0), perhaps with other Incognito accessories such as a video switching unit (VH10) or local in put module (LM10) fitted.
BK10 rear Note: When using a BK10 k eypad with an AH1 0 hub, an Incognito PS1 0 power supply unit MUST be used. Please consult the AH10 Incognito Multi-Room Installation Guide for full details of the various options available for the full Incognito system.
Av oid placing the keypad where there is line of sight t o another ke ypad. In such situations both ke ypads may pick up the same commands from a remo te control and it will be difficult to control each zone independently . Av oid placing the BK10 where there is line of sight to the sour ce equipment for the system.
REAR P ANEL CONNECTIONS Speaker output Connect to a pair of speak ers with two runs of standard high-quality speak er cable. Speakers of at least 88 dB SPL for 1W @ 1 metre efficiency should be used with the BK10. Speak er s from 4–8 ohms can be used.
The six LEDs indicate the volume lev el of the BK10. The LEDs also also display the sour ce selected when the source is changed and can also show the status of some other functions.

OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS Volume adjustment V olume is adjusted using the volume up and volume do wn buttons on the ke ypad or remote; this is indicated on the k eypad by the int ensity of the blue LED lights, there are four le vels of intensity per LED.
Continuing to hold both butt ons will light the fourth LED indicating that Balance adjust mode has been activated. In this mode pressing the V olume up/down ke ys will adjust the sound level between the left and right speakers. Continuing to hold both butt ons will light the fif th LED indicating that Fader adjust mode has been activated.
Note: This feature is only a vailable if the BK1 0 is par t of a full Incognito multi- room system with one or tw o Local Input Modules (LM1 0) fitted. The local source selection mode will need to be activ ated to configure the BK10 correctly . This mode is only available when the Mode Switch is set to “ AH10” mode.
Pressing the Select left or right buttons on the ke ypad allows you to r otate thr ough all six sources as default. Howe ver, it is possible t o allow the addition of one or two local sources b y accessing Local source selection mode .
