USING THE MIL DOT RETICLE (ET3124F / ET6245F) Y our Bushnell riflescope contains a mil-dot reticle (1st focal plane), the most accurate means of range estimation using a manual optical device. These mil dots also allow precise leads for moving targets and exact compensation for shooting in a crosswind.
height or width carefully in mils, c ompute it according to the formula and y ou will nd its range. Support your rie and be precise when measuring objects; any measuring error causes an error in the comput ed range. Equally , a mistake in estimating the object size r esults in a proportional range error .
The Mil Dot Reticle Measurement System in the F irst Focal Plane Applies at any Ma gnification Level. 2 Mils at 12x (100 yards) 2 Mils at 3.5x (100 yards).
USING THE BTR-MIL™ BALLISTIC T ACTICAL RETICLE (ET3124FJ / ET6245FJ) The Bushnell BTR-Mil™ Ballistic T actical Reticle is a hashmarked reticle that uses mrad based subtension lines for ranging, holdover and windage corrections. The illuminated 1 mil diameter circle with .
USING THE BTR-1 T ACTICAL RETICLE IN A FIRST FOCAL PLANE SCOPE (ET1624F) Elite T actical model ET1624F with the BTR-1 T actical Reticle is designed to be sighted-in at 100 yards (or meters), and provides hold over points out to 600 meters. This reticle is calibrated for use with 223 Rem/5.

USING THE BTR-1 T ACTICAL RETICLE IN A SECOND FOCAL PLANE SCOPE ( ET1624SF) Elite T actical model ET1624SF with the BTR-1 T actical Reticle is designed to be sighted-in at 100 meters/yards, and provides hold over points out to 600 meters. This reticle is calibrated for use with 223 Rem/5.

The BTR-2 reticle in first focal plane is an excellent choice for shooters needing maximum flexibility in a riflescope. This reticle in the first focal plane combines the close range benefits of a red dot sight with the long range capabilities offered by mrad based ranging reticle.
Center dot measures .3 mils at highest power setting (6.5x or 8.5x, depending on model) BTR-2 @ 1x BTR-2 @ 6.5x.
The BTR-2 reticle in second focal plane is an excellent choice for shooters needing maximum flexibility in a riflescope. This retic le in the second focal plane combines an illuminated red dot with a mil hash platform.

MAINTENANCE Y our Bushnell Elite T actical riflescope, though amazingly tough, is a precision instrument that deserves reasonably cautious care. 1.

USING MIL DOT RETICLES FOR HOLDOVER Once you know how to range your target with a Mil Dot reticle, and using the previous example, you can use the reticle instead of the turrets to make adjustments with holdover . For example, your range tells you that the 12” target is 300 yards away , (12”*27.
