3 GENERAL INFORMA TION Improper set up will result in permanent damage and v oid the limited warranty . Read and f ollow the initial set up instructions on page 4. • This brewer is designed to remain plugged in at all times , except during initial set up or when cleaning.
4 Initial Set Up Guide 1. Slide empty funnel into funnel guides as shown. 2. Fill decanter with cold water . Swivel brewer lid and pour w ater into brewer . P osition decanter on base below funnel. Close the lid and wait three minutes while the internal tank par tially fills.
5 Brewing P erfect Coff ee 1. Inser t BUNN coff ee filter into the brew funnel. 2. Measure fresh coff ee into the filter and shake gently to le v el the bed of grounds. (W e re co m me nd 1 - 2 he a pi ng Tbs p s. of dr i p gr in d p er cu p of co ff ee).

7 BUNN recommends y ou DO: • K eep coffee stored in a clean, dry place awa y from heat registers and vents or e xtreme cold for maximum freshness . • Use enough coff ee (one to two heaping tablespoons per cup or about 1½ inches of coff ee in a flat-bottom filter .
8 CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS Daily washing and cleaning of the bre w funnel and decanter after each use is required. Occasionally , wipe the outside of the brewer , including the area abov e the funnel, with mild, no citrus added dish soap and a damp cloth.
9 6. Cool the bre wer by pouring a full decanter of fresh, cold water into the top of the brewer . Place decanter on the base plate and close the lid. When w ater has stopped flowing from the bre wer , empty the decanter . Repeat this process and set the decanter aside.
10 DRAINING Y OUR BREWER The water in y our BUNN coffee bre wer should be emptied whene ver it is tak en on a trip, shipped, stored in an unheated location with a chance of freezing, or goes unused f or a e xtended period of time. T o drain your bre wer , use the following procudure: 1.
