4 IMPOR T ANT F A CTS Y our gas furnace uses air from outside the home for combustion and venting. It is not to be installed using in-house air . Therefore, both pipes must terminate outside the structure and must not be obstructed in any w ay .

Make sure that all PVC pipes leading into the comb ustion area and vent are free from an y cracks and sags. Also check the comb ustion-air intake and vent pipes on the outside of your home for blockage.
9 34 35 7. Pour 1 quart of antifreeze into funnel/tube. Antifreeze should run through inducer housing, over fi ll condensate trap, and fl ow into open fi eld drain. (See Fig. 35.) 8. Remov e funnel and tube from inducer housing and replace drain connection cap and clamp.
