Setti ng Up the Ma chin e 5 3 Fan the stack of paper well to avoid pape r j a ms and misfeeds. 4 Gently put the paper into the paper tray print side down and top edge first.
Set ti ng Up th e Machi ne 6 STE P1 8 While holding the paper tray in place, pu ll out the paper support ( ) until it cli ck s, and then unfold the paper support flap ( ). Note D o not use the paper support f lap for Legal paper. 3 Co nnecting t he phone lin e 1 Connect the t elephone line c ord.

Setti ng Up the Ma chin e 9 Caution • DO NOT take out ink cartridges if yo u do n ot need to replace them. I f you do s o, it m ay reduce the ink quantity and the machine will not know the qu antity of ink left in the cartridge . • DO NOT shake the ink cartridg es.
