7. Remove elemen t(s) from tank usin g 1½" deep well so cket or wrench. Unscrew e l ement(s) counter -clockwise to r emove fro m tank. Unscrew ele ment(s) counter-cl o ckwise to remove fr om tank Elem ent(s) Ins tallation: 8. C heck element te rminal block for pro per elec trical rating.
10. Th read new el ement(s) clockwise into tank. Tighten ele ment(s) with a 1 ½" deep well socket or wrench . Do not over tighten . Over-tighte ning may dam age gasket. Not e: Clean any debr is from element(s) fitting t o tank. Lubri cate eleme nt(s) thre ads as n eeded with thre ad lubricant.
