Introduction 6 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide External Control Panel • The Infrared Remote Receiver (F ront and Rear) allows the projector to accept signals from the remote c ontrol. For best resu lts, be sure to aim the control toward the sensor without any obstructions between the two, and at a distance no greater than 6 meters (20 fe et).
Introduction 7 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide Adjuster The projector is equipped wi th a quick-release adju ster foot and button for adjusting its tilt angle. 1. Lift the projector up and pres s the adjuster butto n to release the adjuste r. 2. The adjuster will drop into position and be locked.
Introduction 8 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide Remote Control D escription Remote Control Features The remote control sensors are located in the front/ back of the projector. The distance between the sensor and the remote control should not exceed 6 meters (20 feet).

To release the freeze function, press the FREEZE button, RETURN butto n or SOURCE button (w hen the input source is switched over during display) agai n.
Introduction 10 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide Installing or Replacing Batteries • Push and slide the battery co mpartment lid in the direction shown. • Install batteries as indicated by the diagram inside the compartment. • Position the lid over the c ompartment and snap it back into place .
Installation 11 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide INSTALLATION Screen Size Place the projector at the require d distance from the screen according to the desi red picture size (see the table bel ow). Connecting to Various Equipment It only takes a few seconds to connect your projector to your com puter/notebook, VCR or other systems.

Press POWER for 1 second. • The back-lit POWER key blinks green and stays green when the power is turned on. (When the power is turned off, there is a 60-second coolin g period before the projector can be re-starte d.

Maintenance 20 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide MAINTENANCE Lamp Information Use and Replacement of Lamp When the Lamp Indicator lights up red or a message appears suggesting the time of lamp replacement, please inst all a new lamp or consult yo ur dealer.
Maintenance 21 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide 1. Press the POWER button to switch off the proje ctor. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet and the projector. 2. Loosen the screw and remove the lamp cover. If the lamp is hot, avoid burns by waiting 45 minutes until t he lamp has c ooled.
Maintenance 22 BOXLIGHT XD-15c User’s G uide Caution To reduce the risk of severe burns, allow the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes before repla cing the lamp. To reduce the risk of inju ries to fingers and damage to intern al components, use caution wh en removing lam p glass that has shat tered into sharp pieces.
