Speaker Placement Since the speaker installation is permanent and the furniture place- ment may not be , you should first determine the best long-term loca- tion for the speakers—one that will accommodate future relocation of the furniture in the room, while still allowing for an unobstructed sound path from the speakers to the listening area.
Installation Tips Speaker Position VRi560, VRi580, VRi593 If these speakers are installed hor- izontally , mount them as mirror images of each other with the tweeter on the inside . The VRi553 is symmetrical and v ery well suited to horizontal positioning.

If the speaker is mounted far off-axis, the sub-baffle can be angled tow ard the prime listening position.

Boundary Compensation All Models The response of a speaker changes when it is mounted close to the boundary junctions of a room (near an adjacent wall or ceiling or close to the corners of the room).
