16 Operating pr ocedur e Filters and maintenance Grease filters: Metal filters are used to trap the gr easy element of the vapours that develop during cooking.
Filters and maintenance Removing and inserting the metal grease filters: 1. Press the catch on the gr ease filters inwards and fold the filters down. 3. Insert the grease filters (see r emoval and installation of the metal-mesh grease filters). Removing the filter: The filters are r emoved in reverse sequence.
18 Replacing the light bulbs 1. Switch off the extractor hood and pull out the mains plug or switch off the electricity supply at the fuse box. 2. Remove the grease filters (see Filters and Maintenance). 3. Press down the bulb cover and disconnect from the light strip.

22 Electrical connection This is what you have to do: 1. Connect the green and yellow (Earth) wire to the terminal in the plug marked ‘E’ or with the symbol ( ), or coloured gr een or green and yellow . 2. Connect the blue (Neutral) wire to the terminal in the plug marked ‘N’ or coloured black.
23 Installation This extractor hood is intended to be mounted onto the kitchen wall. 1. Remove the grease filter (r efer to Operating Instructions). 2. Draw a line on the wall from the ceiling to the lower edge of the hood at the centre of the location wher e the hood is going to be mounted.
24 Installation 0 8. Insert the other 4 screws with washers. Before the 4 scr ews are tightened down, align the extractor hood properly . 0 9. Connect up the air outlet pipe.
