6 Remote control installation 6 720 606 990 Electrical str ip connectors B At the ignition elec trodes, pull off the 2 yellow igniter wi res that come from the top of the control unit (Fig. 2, pos. 3). Then pull the complete control unit forward and out of th e heater, pull up the power sup ply cord further if more slack is needed.

To determine the control board version in the water heater: B Turn power switch on the water heater to the off position (O).
