Clear T oday Clears data recorded since 1 2:00am. 3. Reset Full reset to factor y defaults. 4. Clear All Clears all data recorded without having to reset time and date.

8 Set the A-B-C Switc h The A -B-C switc h is located inside the batt er y compar tment. It can be set to A , B or C. Ho we v er , you must select the same letter c hoices for bot h the sensor and the displa y unit in order for the units to sync hronize.
9 Set t he Time & Dat e The cloc k and calendar are utilized to time stamp histor y records and other data, so it is impor t ant to set t he time and date soon af t er you po w er on the display unit.
10 Select Measurement U nits T o select be tween standard units (mph, ºF , e tc.) or metric units (kph, ºC, e tc.): 1 . Press the “ ▲ ” or “ ▼ ” buttons until “SET UNITS?” is displayed on the Selectable Categor y part of t he display unit.
11 Placement for Maximum Accuracy AcuRite sensors are sensitive to surrounding envir onmental conditions. Proper placement of bot h the display unit and t he sensor are critical t o the accuracy and per for mance of this product. Display Unit Placement Place the displa y unit in a dr y area free of dir t and dust.
12 5-in-1 Sensor Installation Guidelines INSTALLATION HEIGHT Mount t he sensor at least 5 fee t (1 .5 met ers) of f the ground (higher is better for wind measurement) in an open area.
13 OPERATION Using t he Professional Weat her Center Learning Mode Self-Calibrating Forecasting use a unique algorithm t o analyze c hanges in pressure o v er a time period (called Lear ning Mode) to deter mine your altitude. Af ter 1 4 days, t he Learning Mode icon disappears from the displa y screen.
14 Prog rammable Weat her Alarms Eac h Selectable W eat her Categor y f eatures an alarm option. When an alarm sounds, t he display unit emits an audible beep and ashes t he af fected categor y, its alarm settings, and any other relev ant data. Some alarms can be customized t o aler t you when y our progr ammed value is reached.
15 T o activ ate or deactivat e an ala rm: Press “ ” T o set or adjust an alarm value: Press and hold “ ” Set a Weather Alar m 1 . Choose t he weather categor y for which you wish to set an alar m by pressing the “ ▲ ” or “ ▼ ” buttons until t he categor y is displa yed on the Selectable Categor y part of t he display unit.

17 Problem Possible Solution Inaccurate temperature or humidity • Make sure both the displa y unit and sensor are placed away from heat sources or v ents (see p. 1 1). • Make sure both units are positioned away from moisture sources (see p. 1 1). • Make sure sensor is mounted at least 5 ft of f t he ground.
