Handlebar Assembly Remove the han dle adjust ment crank , f lange nut, re tainer bracket , shoulde r bolt, a nd lock nut f rom the pivot br acket. Place the handl e assembly i nto position in the h andle pivot bracket by li ning up the upp er hole s in the handle w ith the slot s in the pivot bra cket.
Inser t the en d of the gear shif t ro d through the o pening i n the top of the s hif t cov er an d into the shif t bracket . First, secu re the rubb er washer the n the fl at washer and cot ter pin. S ee Fig. 3- 6. Inst all the nut and T-handl e on the gear shi ft ro d.
Set -Up Tires The tir es on your tille r may be over -i nflate d for shipp ing purp oses. Re duce the tire pressu re befor e operatin g. The recomm ended o perating ti re pressure is app roximately 1 4 p.s .i. on 1 4 inch tires . Check the sid ewall of tire fo r tire manufac turer ’ s recomm ended p ressure.
