Connections Speakers T ransf ormer -Coupled Speaker Connections T ransf ormer -coupled, constant voltage speak er loads ar e connected to their respectiv e load type (i.e ., 70V speak ers to the 70V terminal, 25V speaker systems to the 25V terminals) and the COM terminal.
Connections COM and GND T erminals A shorting jumper typically connects the COM and GND terminals of the amplifier together . The COM terminal is a common lead from the output transformer . For the transformer -coupled speak er output to work, one of the speak er load leads must be connected to this terminal.
8 Connections System Expansion of Po wer V ector Amplifier s Using the bridging RCA connector , it is possible to connect two or mor e Pow er V ector amplifiers. It is not rec- ommended that more than thr ee amplifiers be bridged together due to bridging loss.
Operation Fr ont P anel Controls & Indicators Input V olume Contr ols Each input module ma y be individually controlled by its cor r esponding volume control knob . Signal / Clip Indicator A single LED located above each channel’ s volume contr ol indicates the audio activity of that channel’ s input.
10 Operation Output Limiter The Output Limiter control sets the thr eshold at which the unit hard limits the output signal. Once the Limiter's threshold is exceeded, the output signal is pre vented from incr easing any further .
