3 Description The GA6A is a rugged six-watt, dual-input audio amplifier with a wide variety of smaller a pplications including background m usic , rela ying communication from one r oom to another , or sound reinfor cement.
4 P anel Descriptions Utility Amplifier F r ont P anel 1 . MIC Control - Regulates the lev el of microphone output to speak ers. 2. AUX Control - Regulates the lev el of the AUX sour ce to speakers. 3. P ow er Switch - Controls A C power to the amplifier .
5 Connections 70V & 25V Speak er Systems Connect the 25V or 70V speak er loads to the corr esponding terminals (25V or 70V) and the common terminal. Mak e sure that the total wattage of all the connected speak ers is less than 6 watts. Note: Do not use both the 25V and 70V terminals at the same time .
6 Connections Phasing As the voltage on a speak er changes from plus to min us, the speak er cone mov es from pushing out to pulling in. If y ou re v erse the polarity , the speaker r esponds in the opposite manner .
7 Operation Po w e r The AC line cor d should be plugged into a three-wir e , grounded outlet pro viding 1 20V A C , 60 Hz. The po wer s witch illuminates when unit is switched ON. MIC Contr ol Controls the amount of MIC signal hear d at the output. Clockwise increases the signal.
