PRECAUTIONS A ND GENERAL INFORM A TION 3 WA RNI NG: Electric Shock Hazard All servicing requiring access to non-insulated components must be performed by qualified service personnel. Do not open any access panels which require the use of tools. Failure to heed this warning can result in electrical shock.
INSTALL ATION 4 RE A D THIS CAREFULL Y BEFORE ST A RTING THE INST A LLA TIO N Unpack the unit. Inspec t all components f or completeness and condition. Ensure that all packing materials have been removed from the unit. Verify that the Spray Head Gasket and Spray Disk are properly installed.

ST ART- UP For initial start-up, or if the br ewer has not been used for an extended period of t ime: ♦ Be sure spray disk and bre w gasket are properly installed in the brew head. ♦ Be sure the water supply is prope rly conne cted and the w ater supply valve is turned ON .
OPERATION (continued) WATER HEATER Water temperature is sensed by a thermobulb inserted in to the water tank. This te mpe rature signal is fed to the mechanical thermostat. The temperature setpoint is adjustable. Heating element is energized by the thermostat.
BREWING TEA 8 A. PREP A RATION Exam ine the tea brew cham ber to v erify that the short the wire rack is in place. Place one (1) genuine Bloomfield paper f ilter into the wire rack in the tea bre w chamber. Ad d an amo unt of fresh tea leave s to the bre w chamber appropriate to the bre w volume.

SERVICING INST RUCTIONS (continued) 12 TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT Unplug power cord or turn circuit breaker OFF. Remove top panel. Pull vent tube o ut of tank lid and inse rt a thermometer of known accuracy in hole. Reconnect brewer to electrical powe r. Place empty cont aine r under bre w chamber.
SERVICING INSTRUCT IONS (continued) IMPORTANT: Water pressure must be betwe en 20 p.s.i and 90 p.s.i. flowing pressure . If water pressure exceeds t his value, or if water pressure varies greatly, a pressure regulator must be installed in the water supply line.
