35 ENGLISH The device switches off. All the current settings ar e saved. Any CD alr eady inser ted in the device r e- mains there. Attaching the contr ol panel Push the control panel int o the guides of the device fr om the left to the right. Carefully push on the left side of the control panel until it clicks int o place.
36 Note: If the vehicle ignition was switc hed off prior to inserting the CD, you must switch in on fi rst with the button 2 to start the playback. Switching the device on/off using the detachable control panel Detach the contr ol panel. The device switches off.
37 ENGLISH Note: T o pro tect y our hearing, the power -on volume is limit ed to the value "38". If the volume bef ore switching off was higher and the "LAST VOL" setting w as selected, the de vice switches on again with the value "38".
38 Radio mode Adjusting the tuner T o ensure pr oper functioning of the tuner , the device must be set f or the region in which it is being operated. Y ou can select among Europe (EUROPE), America (US A), South America (S-AMERICA), and Thailand (THAI).

The operation for pla ying MP3 and WMA fi les is identical. Notes: WMA fi les with Digital Rights Management (DRM) from online mu- sic shops cannot be pla yed with this device.
