32 Radio mode This unit is equipped with an RDS radio receiver . Many of the receivab le FM sta- tions transmit a signal that not only car- ries the programme but also additional inf or mation such as the station name and programme type (PTY). The station name appears in the dis- pla y as soon as it is received.

36 T reble reduct ion feature during interference ( H ICUT) The HICUT function improves the sound when radio reception is poor (FM only). When interference is being experi- enced, the treble is automatically cut, which therefore also reduces the level of interference.
