Welcome to the Blip user guide Blip is an easy-to-use geo-social interaction t ool for BlackBerry® smar tphones that f eature internal GPS technology . It enables y ou to Share Y our Where with the people that y ou know and vice v ersa. By sharing GPS locations, Blip helps ev er yone answer qu estions of Who, Where, and When.
This Guide Blip Compatibility with BlackBerry Smar tphones For users wishing t o publish GPS locations with the Blip application, this guide assumes that you ha ve creat ed a BlackLine account, activat ed your BlackBerr y 8800 Series smartphone, and installed the Blip application.
Since GPS is not built within certain BlackBerr y smar tphones, the interaction e xperience is limited. If you ha ve a non-GPS-enabled BlackBerry device, your smartphone will be able to interact with the BlackLine GPS Snitch and GPS-enabled BlackBerry 8800 series smar tphones.
GPS Location Security Notice End User License Agreement (EULA) When you start Blip for the first time, your BlackBerry smar tphone will notify you that it is req uesting access to your GPS location. F or Blip to perform correctly , you must agree t o Blip’s continued access to y our GPS data.
