SINGLE/DUAL USB-CAT5 EXTENDER 165FT 8 2.2 About the USB-CAT5 Extender The USB-CAT5 Extender bre aks the five-meter distance barrier for the connection of USB devi ces and allows users to enjoy t he benefits of USB technology beyond the desk top. With the USB-CAT5 Extender, USB devices can be located up to 50 meters from the host computer.
CHAPTER 2: Introducti on 9 2.2.2 The Remote Unit The Remote Unit connects to the USB dev ice using a conventiona l USB cable. The Rem ote Unit of the USB-CA T5 Extender IC 244A enables you to connect one f ull-speed or low -speed USB de vice.
